How many days in the Bible it took to create the world
Any person who questions the creation of the world as depicted in Scripture puts God in the position of a liar. Those who supposedly believe in the biblical creation, yet add the erroneous theory that it took millions of years, also fall into the group of people who call the Creator a fraud. The big bang theory and the theory of evolution are fictions based on theories, not evidence, that atheists have invented. A Christian who bases his life on the word of God should not believe atheists, but his Heavenly Father. Do you think that God, who can perform amazing miracles, would not be able to create planet Earth, the Sun and life on Earth in a week?
Already today mankind is able to create a plasma hotter than the Sun. When you look at a screen, you see fonts. Can you technologically explain the process that occurs to make them appear here? If mankind can do things that seemed impossible just 200 years ago, why couldn't God create something better? Just because we can't create something doesn't mean it can't be done.
There is not a single word in Genesis 1 about the fact that the creation of the world lasted billions or millions of years ago. The words used are "And the evening and the morning were the- first day / second / third / fourth / fifth / sixth day". Could the evening or morning have lasted billions of years? No! There is no room for a hybrid like: a day could have lasted millions of years.
Reading further we come to the words: Genesis 2.2-3 "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." We read that the seventh day was blessed, not millions of years that lasted like one day. If it took millions of years, then the day of rest i.e. Saturday given by God would not make sense and thus the whole Bible would be hypocritical.
Satan works in every possible way, he is no fool, with his reason, without God we have no chance with him. He is a master at deception. He knows that there are people who will not believe in the big bang theory and evolution without considering the biblical account of the creation of the world. Especially for them, an unbiblical hybrid has been created, pushing on them the stupidity that, days during the creation of the earth lasted billions of years. By believing such a strange fabrication, you believe atheists, not God. One cannot be combined with the other, if you think so it means that you have been deceived and are belittling the power of God.
In every place in the Old Testament, the combination of a day with an indication of which day it is, e.g.: the seventh day indicates a literal one day, e.g.: the seventh day:
- On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. (Exodus 40.2)
- And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. (Genesis 40.20)
- On the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath. (Leviticus 23.39)
- In the first day shall be an holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work therein. (Numbers 28.18)
- And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives. (Exodus 19.15)
- And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees. (Leviticus 23.40)
- And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire. (1 Samuel 30.1)
Also, in the 10 Commandments, God commanded to keep the seventh day holy: Exodus 20.8-11 "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." It does not say that the seventh day lasted billions of years.
The creation of the sun, moon and stars only on the fourth day may seem problematic. This verse is clumsily used by the so-called hybridists, which only further confounds them. Check how old the Sun, Earth and Moon are according to the big bang theory. As much as you'd like, you can't stuff billions of years in there, because God would have to create the Sun first, not the Earth, and it's written that the Sun was created together with the Moon. On Day One, God created light and separated it from darkness. What is darkness? The absence of light. For the first three days, light shone instead of the Sun. Didn't God know how many 24 hours there are? Don't belittle His power, He didn't need the sun for that.
In the prophecies of Scripture we find words that say that one day counts as one year. However, these words pertain to prophecies and should not be mixed with non-prophetic texts. It should also be noted that whole days are mentioned, without evenings or mornings, and without specifying a particular day, such as the first.
The earth, according to Scripture, was not created billions of years ago
Those who want to forcibly acknowledge that the earth was created over billions of years and back this up with the Bible often quote verse 4 of Psalm 90 with a maniac's obstinacy: "For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night." while ignoring the entire content of the Psalm. By taking sentences out of context, one can create such incredible interpretations that completely contradict biblical teaching. The verse says that for God there is no time, it is eternal, in the following verses it is compared to a short human life. Verse 4 is not, proof that God created the world millions of years, and if you so much as want to acknowledge this intepretation, it is only 1000 years, not millions, which is irrelevant to the description of the creation of the earth anyway, since the words "mornings and evenings" were used there. It is also not irrelevant that the Psalms are lyrical poetry, which the First Book of Moses certainly is not.
The above arguments clearly indicate that the earth could not have been created billions of years ago, and it is impossible for a hybrid to have been created, meaning billions of years were woven into the biblical description of the world. God is omnipotent, He does not have to wait billions of years for life to arise. It is written that he created man in his own image. Believing in the theory of evolution puts God on a par with the ape, from which atheists teach we descended. Read the entire Scriptures, you will see that the earth is about 5770-6000 years old, everything falls into one logical whole, according to the prophecies placed in Revelation in about 200 years the earth will rest for another 1000 years.
What is written in the Old Testament and may seem irrelevant, in the New Testament is quoted and takes on a broader meaning. God created the world in six days, resting in the seventh. If one adds up the lives of the people whose ages are given in the Scriptures, it is calculated that the earth is about 5770-6000 years old, and the day predicted by Jesus of his second coming is to come, after which Satan is to be imprisoned for 1000 years. Belief in the explosion theory and evolution not only puts God in the position of a deceiver, detracts from His power, but also demolishes the teachings of Scripture. The Bible is like a jigsaw puzzle, by rejecting one part of it you thereby destroy the others.
