Celebrating Christmas and Easter vs. hypocrisy

As every year comes Christmas and Easter and the false celebration of them. Few people will actually direct their thoughts toward Jesus, and even fewer will pray together. Artificially breaking a wafer and wishing a person who is and will be gossiped about is not unusual. Worst of all, however, is the ghastly celebration of the holidays by atheists and their mindless sending of wishes in which they utter typically religious words, but openly deny the existence of a Creator.

Few will be interested in the fact that Jesus could not have been born in December and the fact that none of the apostles and their disciples recognized this holiday. Few will be interested in why and for what reason it was introduced. Who cares today. The most important thing is to get presents, eat to your heart's content and, in many homes, drink alcohol.

What percentage of people know the maximum number of hours that Jesus lay in the tomb before he rose from the dead? Many believe that he stayed there for a full three days, while the truth is that he couldn't have been there for more than 36 hours. If he had lain longer, the body would have begun to rot, and the biblical text itself says that Jesus was buried until sunset, lay on Saturday, and on Sunday morning the body was not found.

I know of a case where the parents of a girl invited her family for Christmas. They all gathered, sat around the table and had conversations completely unrelated to Jesus, whom they claim to love so much. They are officially celebrating Christmas because of His birth. When the girl wanted to play a religious film about the birth of Christ, suddenly the idyll ended, the company dispersed to their homes, and the mother scolded her daughter for spoiling her Christmas! And this is supposed to be a celebration of the birth of Jesus without inviting the one for whom it is being celebrated?

How many of you will buy a live carp without thinking about the ordeal it has to go through before it is killed. If you must, buy a dead one, not a live one! More than once I saw how people treated live fish. They forcefully squeezed them into commercials. For those who don't remember, I remind you that fish have no eyelids, and how much it hurts an eye that can't even be moistened, I don't have to remind anyone. Later, these fish were thrown into one big shopping bag, along with other items, and the fish's eyes continued to suffer. It is also worth knowing that fish deprived of water die slowly and agonizingly due to lack of moisture. This can be compared to sunburn.

Putting dishes made from unclean animals, such as pigs and eels, on the table is now standard. Who cares about the Bible, which forbids eating these animals. Eggs with the number 3 - Cage /  (because cheaper), which will be on the table, will remind few of the suffering that chickens go through on farms. It is an abomination to get drunk at a table where a wafer was previously shared. The same thing is done at baptisms or communions, it's totally disrespectful.

Falsehood at Christmas and Easter

I heard from a person close to me how, at her work, people who hated each other on a daily basis and did everything to harm the other party, made false wishes to each other before Christmas, and as soon as the meeting was over, they started gossiping. One person who was fed up with this hypocrisy declared that she would not come to such meetings, after all, wishes should be spoken sincerely, and she would not accept false ones. Year after year, the number of people breaking the wafer dwindled to zero. No one but one person had the guts to say outright that they did not want to participate in this cabaret.

How many people have read at least one Gospel? This is where the description of the birth and death of the Savior is found. The answer is: not many!

Why did the apostles and their disciples not celebrate these holidays? The answer is as follows: Jesus knew the future, he knew that Rome would replace pagan holidays with Roman-Catholic holidays to attract more pagans, and thus God's pure teaching would be further tainted by the introduction of unbiblical cults and customs.

The Savior also knew that the supposed celebration of these holidays, would turn into a cabaret, celebrated by people who don't give a damn about God and His teachings on a daily basis. An atheist celebrating Christmas is some kind of mockery! Such behavior causes belief in the true God to recede into the background even further, and those who truly believe in Him are ridiculed.
