Did Jesus Christ have to die
Was the death of Jesus Christ necessary? Couldn't God Almighty have found a better way to save mankind? The answer is obvious and it is: He could not, it was the best possible decision.
Many ask themselves: if God is so powerful and can do everything, why did he choose such a way of salvation, why did he suffer, why were there animal sacrifices. After all, there are no limits before God, because if He wanted to, He could give eternal life to everyone without shedding His own blood.
At the outset of the answer, let's establish one thing: since God chose such and not another way of salvation, it means that this one was the best possible, and if we do not agree with it or do not understand it, then the problem lies in ourselves. A fish in an aquarium knows very little about the world, with our knowledge we surpass it countless times, and the same can be compared between man and God.
The sacrifice of Jesus is to some extent related to the sacrifice of animals, whose sacrifice pointed to Jesus Christ. The sacrifice of animals on the altar, was a symbolic payment for sin, it taught that the consequence of sin is death and suffering. Blood is life, shedding the blood of an animal on the altar indicated that sin was so bad that it could not go unaddressed. Killing innocent animals and shedding their blood, was also a foreshadowing of Jesus' sacrifice.
Jesus suffered because he desires true love
We are not alone in the universe. The existence of angels is written about in the Bible itself, about whether there are other civilizations besides ours there is no clear answer, some believe that they are depicted, for example, in Job 1.6 "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.", where the sons of God are representatives of other planets. Regardless of whether this is a correct interpretation, let's focus on the existence of angels, from which Lucifer and his fallen demons originated.
God could lock every fallen angel and human being in darkness for eternity, cast them off to a distant planet and never look there again. He could also put everyone to death and give some eternal life. He could also have done this before His second coming and then He would not have had to suffer. However, He didn't do it for the sake of us and the good angels. God is Holy, full of love, and loves us so much that He was willing to suffer for us.
The angels, seeing the suffering and death of Jesus, saw that Satan would not back down. It was through him that his own Father endured suffering. This showed how cruel evil is, there is no barrier against it, it will destroy everything in its path. When we hear on TV that someone has killed someone, we often no longer pay attention to it, but when we hear that some degenerate murdered his own parents, torturing them beforehand, we don't always pass by it indifferently. Since we, in a world of sin, will pay attention to such a thing, how much it must have been experienced by angels who have no sin in them.
Watching the suffering and death of one's own Father, and that inflicted by His own child, who that child was even at that moment endowed with the Father's love, must have a tremendous impact on the watcher. Just because the angels saw it, doesn't mean we won't see it. I believe that those who will be saved to fully understand the sacrifice of Jesus will see a picture of the past as if it had taken place in person. We too will see how much our Creator suffered to save us from eternal death in the name of love.
Jesus' death in new life will remind us of His love
If Jesus had not given his life for us and saved us without dying himself, we would not appreciate the value of life without sin. It is sin that is the cause of death. When we are given the grace of salvation, our life in heaven and on the new earth will be sinless. Through the death of Jesus, we will be reminded of what evil thoughts lead to, since it was from them that Lucifer's rebellion began. During eternity, various thoughts may arise, including the evil one, which would again lead to rebellion. However, knowing that for us the beloved Father suffered and died in human flesh, we have irrefutable proof that He will do everything possible in the name of love for us. Jesus, who loves us so much, will therefore banish all evil thoughts from our hearts in the future. He will not do it automatically, we will still have free thoughts, and it is His sacrifice that will make our hearts eternally full of love and faith in the Savior, we will have true pure love at the highest level:)
Christ also indicated through death that there is an order in the universe in God's law, in which evil is so terrible that its consequence is death and suffering.
