Scripture vs. coal
Theory 1 cited by evolutionists (inconsistent with Scripture due to the age of creation):
Coal was formed 360-30 million years ago from dead plants in swampy, marshy areas. The dead plant tissues form peat, which as it moves deeper underground undergoes greater pressure and high temperature. The aforementioned lack of oxygen, tremendous pressure, the right temperature and millions of years make coal in the place of the former peat. The longer the coal lay in a particular place, the better the quality, until it reached graphite, or 100% coal.
Theory 2 The origin of coal according to the Bible
Before the Flood, the Earth was surrounded by water vapor, ice grains or a water mantle. This is as possible as, for example, the existing rings of Jupiter, Saturn or Uranus, except that the mantle surrounded the entire earth, rather than forming only a ring, and could float to higher levels of the atmosphere.
Further evidence is also provided by discovered ice moons, such as Saturn's moon named Thetis consisting, it is believed, almost entirely of water ice. Regardless, the answer is still provided by Scripture itself:
Genesis 1.7 "And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so."
Genesis 7.11-12 " In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights."
The aforementioned water mantle, stopped harmful X-rays, UV, gamma rays, etc. (it's worth reading about what water stops), so there was more oxygen on Earth (about 31%, now 21%) and more pressure. More oxygen and the absence of harmful radiation contribute to much greater plant growth. So how big were plants in antediluvian times? We don't know exactly, but we can guess that they may have been 3-4 times larger. Such an amount would have been enough to produce the coal seams encountered today. Animals may also have been larger. The earth before the Flood was mostly terrestrial, the record testifies:
Psalms 24.1-2 " The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. "
Psalms 136.6 "To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever."
The Bible mentions that the springs of a great abyss gushed out during the Flood. This could have been huge amounts of hot water underground, and with it lava, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, huge shifts of tectonic plates, uplifting of mountains, water currents, etc. The pressure that prevailed at that time was unimaginably high, the water flowing out of the interior must have had a high temperature, these were ideal conditions for the formation of coal in a short time. Today we find fossilized leaves in Antarctica, fossilized clams on the highest mountains, amazing discoveries are definitely more.
Evidence of coal formation after the Flood
Plants, water, pressure and temperature. These four elements occurred during the Flood. The enormous temperatures and pressure acted on the plants with incredible force, turning them into carbon. It doesn't take millions of years at all for carbon to form.
It takes 10-15 meters of peat for 1 meter of coal, some seams are as high as 60 meters, which gives us 600-900 meters of peat. How many plants in a natural process would have to die to make that much coal in one place? The Flood solves this problem, displacements and currents could have easily carried the right amount of material to a given place.
According to the theory of evolution, coal is 360-30 million years old, man, who they claim to have evolved from an ape, is only 2-3 million years old (Homo habilis - "handy man" - is an extinct species of archaic human from the Early Pleistocene of East and South Africa about 2.31 million years ago to 1.65 million years ago). Today you can find man-made objects in the coal, i.e. chains, cups, spoons, metal products. So, according to evolution, they must have been formed 27 million years before the formation of coal!
This alone disproves the erroneous theory of evolution. Many of the metal products found, dating back to before the Flood, have such alloy characteristics that it is impossible to manufacture and forge them under current atmospheric conditions. However, this is possible when the air is cleaner and contains about 30% oxygen in the air.
The silence of science
So why is science silent and does not disprove the theory of evolution? Those who believe in evolution do not believe in God. Which scientist, researcher is willing to admit that what they preach is not true? Even if they do, individual voices mean little. They are afraid of humiliation and losing their jobs. They are so blinded by their vision that they reject the evidence against evolution. By disproving the theory of evolution, we would have to change school textbooks, the teaching system, many film productions including scientific ones would end up in the trash. A sizable number of people would lose their jobs, few people would count with them, they would be ridiculed for teaching fairy tales.
Who among atheists would dare to take such a step? Only a few, and the voices of a few will not overcome the current publications and television programs. We are constantly fed sentences like "millions of years ago" on the popular National Geographic channel, and in quasi-documentaries unrelated to evolution. Man, constantly saturated with such programs, has to completely change his view to believe in the Flood and the Biblical creation of the world. It is difficult to snap someone out of his error when he has heard completely opposite teaching for so many years. A non-believer, stubbornly rejecting the existence of God, having irrefutable evidence for God's existence and disproving the theory of evolution, will always find a way to turn away from the truth, just as Judas did.
